1653 headers are designed to fit ‘64-
- ‘70
Mustangs equipped with 351W engines and 4spd/5spd/C4/C6/AOD
transmissions. These headers will not work with a late-model
style cable clutch (use 1655).
The mid-length design of the headers provides significant
increases in torque and horsepower throughout the RPM
range and
allows
for
maximum ground clearance. Ideal for cars with lowered
suspension.
To help make sure you choose the correct headers, h-pipe and exhaust for your
Mustang please refer to the chart below. If you still have questions, give us
a call.
Note:
Starter
tubes
are
included
to
mate
your
existing
exhaust
system
to
the
headers. For best results use JBA p/n 1653H H-pipe. |
