For maximum performance gains on your new Mustang GT, JBA has a complete stainless steel long tube header system that delivers more power and torque than any other header system. These new headers take full advantage of the redesigned chassis and new engine. The trick "D" port aluminum heads on the 4.6L 3v can breathe easier through JBA's 1-5/8" mandrel-bent stainless steel primaries freeing up massive amounts of horsepower and torque. JBA's one-piece 3/8" CNC laser-cut flanges make a tight and durable seal for trouble-free performance. The pipes terminate in a 9" long collector that houses JBA's patented Firecone® merge device for enhanced scavenging of exhaust gasses. These headers fit perfectly inside the frame with no loss in ground clearance.

When Ford designed the new Mustang - they injected a lot of the classic Mustang legend and style. The factory Mustang sound system uses 2-1/2" tubing that flows reasonably well but the mufflers choke up the performance with back pressure because they are designed to quiet the car.
